We are what we do. We are also what we say. And the meaning of words, the intention behind them is paramount.

Too often we latch onto words, to labels with no true realisation of what those sacred words mean. What the energy of those words actually is. In the current trend to out do each other in the spiritual market place- words are being flung around left right and everywhere. Goddess. Angel. Love and Light. Phrases going back and forth. Spiritual Warrior. What does this even mean? I see these words and wonder what does this even mean? To the person writing them, to people reading them. What does it even mean? To call one self, to call another a Goddess, a Priestess, what does it mean? The term is used from soap stars to pop stars to those who look good in a flowing dress to those who have walked the path of the Priestess from lifetime to lifetime. Has this peson self proclaiming to be a Goddess/Priestess or being proclaimed as one by others- initiated in the Temples of Learning with other Priestesses? And more than that is she now walking the talk? Or he…the self proclaimed Priest or Warrior. Or proclaimed by others- are they walking the talk? Simple.

For we can all open a twitter account or a blog and call ourselves anything. We can all start to advise others on what to do. We can all post images that say something about us, about our lives- the question is- if one chooses to take on such a label- then the truth is in the life lived. Which needs to be one of service each and every moment. Not when it suits, not when one is in the mood, not when our Lover has been nice to us- but each and every moment. Each and every moment.

Our Masters were Masters because they were that. The Great Ones through the Ages that have embodied that Light and that Unconditional Love walked the talk each and every moment. Even when hurt, even when attacked they responded with Love. True Love that went to Spirit and said Forgive them, they know not what they do.  And not empty words- that choose to display Love and then say something different behind closed doors. And the Truth can always be felt despite the wrapping, when something is authentic we feel it- we know it through and through.

A nasty email, sent saying some harsh words signed off with “Love and Light”. A phrase posted on a networking site, posted more to boast than to inspire others. Posted to get some praise than to follow the calling of Spirit. All these things are far removed from the Truth of Love and Spirit.

In the guise of helping we judge another’s life- tell them what they must do- because why? We have suddenly become the expert on how someone else is to attain Love, Completion. Because something worked for us we now assume it will work for another. Or that the other is not as learned as we are. Not as “ascended”? What does that even mean? How lacking in humility and Love is such a stance?

Again I say, the Masters did not do this. They did not judge. They did not impose a way on others. They guided others to the waters from which they may drink as little or as much as they needed. Or not at all if they so chose. They guided. They did not boast. They did not impose. They did not preach. They did not – and this is the most important- they did not proclaim themselves to be greater than their neighbour. They came with a message. And that message was sent out into the world- not through empty words- but because they walked the talk.

We resonate with them because they walked the talk. Did Yeshua sit at home, surrounded by comfort and preach of Unconditional Love and judge others who did not do as he said? He walked the path and showed us with his life what Unconditional Love was. Did Gandhi sit in luxury and tell others that they must do certain things whilst he himself abdicated responsibility and spouted some empty words. He showed us with his behaviour what his words meant. And many many more.

Until we are in that place where every day we walk the talk- every single day- with every breath- until we are there- we have no right to proclaim ourselves to be anything. We have no place to judge others, or tell them how to live their lives. Until your life is the living embodiment of all you speak, do not speak. Until you do the work for the sake of the work and not for praise, not for ego, do not do the work. Or if you do – do not call it service- it is not. Until being of service is your very essence, do not ask others to follow you. For no one is here to lead and no one is here to follow. We are all here to walk our own Path with Truth and Integrity. And the true Goddess, the true Priest or Priestess has not need for titles, labels or accolades. The Moon shines down on us in all her Beauty because She does what she does. She does not need to be labelled or adored. She is.

Let us lose this need for labels, for titles for accolades. Let us be naked in our Truth and let that be all we need.

Have Integrity with your words and your words shall serve you and others for Ages to come.
